We grew up in Montreal as first generation Canadians with a Dutch heritage. As long as we can remember, we have always had a birthday calendar in our powder room. When we went to Holland on a family trip, we were amazed to discover that all of our relatives have birthday calendars in their powder rooms as well. We came to realize that birthday calendars are a typical Dutch tradition. We love our birthday calendars. We always remember our loved ones' birthdays and by keeping the calendar in a room you go into every day, one is sure to be reminded of those special days. This is why we have decided to share a part of our heritage with you.
